Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Overview
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is a hard-working flagship
The smartphone has become for modern users not only a mobile assistant, but also a full-fledged working tool. Photography, various editors of text, photo and video files, a voice recorder, a modem, receiving messages from numerous instant messengers - the functionality of today's Android phones is striking in its diversity. It extends especially widely for flagship devices, but Motorola decided to make the hero of the review even more functional compared to competitors.
The appearance of the novelty is standard for the price category. The edging and frame made of metal, a nice block of photomodules, a frameless AMOLED panel without rounding around the perimeter form a beautiful and at the same time strict exterior that will appeal to most of the audience. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen is good at 144Hz refresh rate, but the brightness, contrast, and FullHD+ resolution aren't surprising. But a responsive fingerprint sensor is built into the screen, the glass of the panel is not devoid of an effective oleophobic coating.
The choice of technical characteristics corresponds to the status of the device. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 CPU is the most powerful processor to date, providing huge headroom for the future. With the help of 8GB/12GB of RAM and GPU, the Adreno 730 chipset achieves the lightning-fast opening of any applications, the crazy smoothness of Android 12 and, of course, the flawless functioning of any games up to Genshin Impact. After long gaming sessions, the case heats up decently, but the throttling values are far from critical. Autonomy does not become the strongest side of the Android smartphone in question, but the 4610 mAh battery organizes a day of active use of the device. 128GB/256GB UFS3.1 ROM. completely eliminate the need for microSD cards.
The main 200- (Samsung HP1 main sensor), 50- (wide-angle lens) and 12-megapixel (telephoto lens with 2x zoom) cameras with optical stabilization will not upset sophisticated fans of high-quality photos, because they cope even with complex shooting scenarios like dynamic objects or evening frames. Of course, the noise reduction system will not get rid of all the artifacts in poor lighting, but the resulting photographic materials will still not disappoint. Worthy of compliments and stereo sound, endowed with impressive volume. Fast battery charging at 125W and its wireless counterpart, NFC contactless payments and a reasonable price tag allow you to close your eyes to the lack of a minijack for headphones and moisture protection and recommend the gadget for purchase.
