Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Overview
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion – a standout?
Motorola smartphones have one particularly interesting feature. Even with numerous competitive advantages and an incredible price-performance ratio, they rarely become true bestsellers. Perhaps the problem lies in the peculiar advertising campaign, or even its simple absence in many regions. It seems that the hero of today's review is also unlikely to become an international hit, but there will certainly be no bitterness from acquiring such a hidden gem.
The appearance of the new device is not without its signature style and charisma. The familiar brand logo sits alongside a modern design for the photo modules, an ergonomic textured back panel, and thin screen bezels with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 2712x1220 pixels, which is good for its diagonal size, ensuring image clarity on par with its competitors. The impressive 144Hz refresh rate, typical of flagship devices, along with natural color reproduction and a massive 5200 nit peak brightness, are also impressive. The image output is highly commendable.
The technical specifications are also impressive. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, and Adreno 810 GPU score over 850,000 points in AnTuTu. While this isn't a record-breaking score, and this is clearly not a gaming device, the performance is more than sufficient for running the Android 16 interface, and even resource-intensive games will run quite smoothly at medium graphics settings. Another advantage of the chipset is its energy efficiency. The 7000mAh battery easily provides two, if not almost three, days of active use. There's no wireless charging, which isn't a drawback given the phablet's price tag, but the wired alternative has a 68W output.
The photography capabilities aren't exactly mind-blowing, but the main 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with hybrid image stabilization, coupled with a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, is perfectly capable of daytime photo shoots. Even in the evening, capturing a high-quality, noise-free photo is perfectly possible, even if it takes a couple of takes. Stereo speakers are present; the sound isn't the most spacious or bassy, but it's loud nonetheless. 5G and NFC support (not available in all regional versions) add to the appeal of this inexpensive, but certainly interesting device.
