But it seems that Motorola has a different vision of the situation, because the hero of today's review came out very controversial even against the background of its predecessor.

I do not want to scold the design of the novelty. Of course, the lower frame of the display is visible to the naked eye, and the quality of the plastic case is far from ideal, but such trifles are typical of budget devices. But a beautiful unit of a triple camera and a fingerprint scanner disguised as a brand logo looks relevant. The same words apply to the 8-megapixel selfie camera located at the top of the screen. The 6.5-inch IPS screen is pretty good. Of course, the resolution of 1600x720 pixels is modest by today's standards and does not provide good image clarity, but such flaws can be forgiven for a bright and contrasting picture with a refresh rate of 90 hertz.

With technical characteristics, everything is much more complicated. The updated Mediatek Helio G37 CPU is weak in its performance and is not suitable for demanding games even with 4GB of RAM and an overclocked PowerVR GE8320 video accelerator. Yes, and the interface of Android 11 such a bundle reproduces imperfectly. Small jams are visible, the launch of applications is not very fast. But the processor's energy efficiency is excellent. With a 5000mAh battery, the autonomy of an Android smartphone turns into its main competitive advantage. The buyer can count on two days of work with a mobile assistant without thinking about the nearest outlets. 64GB of ROM and a microSD card slot neutralize possible memory shortages.

50 and 2-megapixel main cameras in contrast to the chipset have been improved. While high-quality evening shots are out of the question, daytime photography in almost 100% of cases pleases with a combination of realistic color reproduction and decent detail. There is no stereo sound, but a separate jack for wired headphones is left for music lovers. The advantages of the gadget are easy to record and contactless NFC payment. However, the low-performance chip and the absence of fundamental changes in comparison with the previous model do not go to the considered device's benefit.
