Motorola Moto G34 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Motorola Moto G34 Overview
Motorola Moto G34 - the right savings
Motorola knows how to surprise. Over the past few years, fans of the corporation have received many competitive smartphones that are ready to compete on equal terms with the best analogues from market leaders. The hero of today's review is aimed at the line between the low and medium price categories, where it can demonstrate excellent functionality, decent autonomy and many other competitive advantages.
It’s difficult to expect an impressive appearance from an inexpensive phone, but the designers tried to do everything possible to ensure that the exterior evokes positive emotions. Strict, but at the same time stylish colors of the cases, an ergonomic matte texture of the rear panel, a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the top of the screen, a side fingerprint scanner, and a beautiful dual camera unit make the device look no worse than its opponents. But the 6.5-inch IPS display cannot be assessed so clearly. The thick bottom frame of the IPS panel and modest resolution of 1600x720 pixels are combined with a good amount of brightness and an increased 120-Hz image refresh rate. The final picture is not particularly clear, but very smooth and does not completely lose visibility in direct sunlight.
The technical characteristics are Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 8GB of RAM and Adreno 619 video accelerator. This is a quite relevant combination for the value segment, supporting 5G networks and delivering performance of over 400 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark. This result means a smooth Android 13 interface and gaming capabilities of the chipset that significantly exceed the basic ones. With low-medium graphic presets, even resource-intensive Honkai: Star Rail and Fortnite will launch. A 5000 mAh battery will help you get up to 8-9 hours of active screen time. Unfortunately, the developer had to save on fast charging power (18W), so you will have to leave the unit at the outlet overnight. The size of the permanent memory has a single configuration of 128GB; a slot for MicroSD cards is definitely not superfluous.
The photographic capabilities of the device are represented by 50- and 2-megapixel photo modules without optical stabilization. These are fairly simple sensors that allow you to create high-quality daytime images in good lighting. Evening photography is not recommended. There is no stereo sound; one speaker handles notifications, but not complex instrumental music. NFC is also missing. This fact is due to the fact that the device was created primarily for China, where QR codes are used instead of contactless payments. As a result, we received a balanced and memorable gadget at an extremely reasonable price.
