Motorola Moto G56 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Motorola Moto G56 Overview
Motorola Moto G56 - too classic smartphone
Motorola is still afloat, even increasing the number of its fans every year. The corporation's phones retain their individual design, as well as a good combination of price and quality. However, not every model in the range can be considered unambiguously successful. The hero of today's review will not be one either, there are reasons for this.
The appearance of the new product has retained the style of the series. The familiar block of photo modules in the corner, eye-pleasing colors of the case and moisture protection according to the IP68 standard are the positive aspects of the exterior, but the disadvantages definitely include not the narrowest screen frames and the widespread use of polycarbonate. The display is made using IPS technology, so you should not count on a huge supply of brightness or truly realistic color rendering. But the picture clarity is fine (resolution of 2400x1080 pixels), there is no PWM effect, and the smoothness of the image is impressive at a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The technical characteristics include the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7060 CPU, 8 GB of RAM and an IMG BXM-8-256 video core. The performance gain compared to the 7025 chip is only 3-5%, the difference is difficult to notice. In the synthetic AnTuTu test, the processor scores about 500 thousand points, modern games run, but for the most resource-demanding projects, it is recommended to set low-medium graphic presets. The battery capacity reached 5200 mAh, which is slightly above average. Autonomy in the end does not disappoint, you need to look for a socket about once every two days. But the power of the wired charging is mediocre, namely 30 W. There is no wireless alternative at all. But the 256GB of ROM can be expanded with MicroSD cards.
The photo capabilities lag behind those of its competitors. There is no telephoto lens, the 8-megapixel wide-angle module is simple, and the 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 sensor for some reason was deprived of hybrid stabilization, so the detail of evening photos has noticeably dropped, and noise has appeared on them. There is no stereo sound, the only speaker will not let you miss a call, but you will not be able to enjoy its sound. As for other advantages of the device, their list will be supplemented by contactless NFC payments, support for 5G networks, and the current Android 15. However, the overall impression of the gadget is mixed. It is very conservative in many aspects.
