Nokia G300 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Nokia G300 Overview
Nokia G300 - when the problem is not only in the price
The Nokia company today is a completely different corporation in comparison with the manufacturer that was 10-20 years ago. Now the organization is owned by other people, and products are often characterized by the worst functionality in comparison with opponents. However, the developers' hope for nostalgia from the audience does not fade away, which is why models like the hero of today's review appear, the overpriced price tag of which is justified.
The design of the novelty came out rather mediocre for the middle price segment. A block of three photomodules and a side fingerprint sensor look relevant, the plastic case itself, as well as thick display frames with an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the "drop" form factor have become outdated last year. The savings on the quality of the IPS-display are also surprising. Some rivals of the gadget have already managed to get AMOLED panels, and we will have a 6.5-inchOGS-screen with HD + resolution without an increased image refresh rate (60Hz). The picture is not capable of boasting clarity or smoothness, and the values of brightness and contrast do not boggle the imagination.
Maybe the situation is more interesting with the technical characteristics? Yes and no. The Qualcomm Snapdragon480 processor supports 5G frequencies, has good energy efficiency, but its gaming performance is not outstanding. Although the CPU runs the latest hits like Genshin Impact, it will be possible to achieve a stable frequency rate in them only when the graphics settings are close to the minimum. 4GB ofRAM and the Adreno 619 video adapter are not particularly conducive to the state of affairs. But less resource-intensive tasks like surfing the web or editing photos are handled by the chipset. The volume of ROM is 64GB , which is far from the record in the value category. Therefore, the microSD slot is unlikely to remain unused.
The main 16-, 5- and 2-megapixel cameras are clearly not a reason to purchase the Android smartphone in question. Evening and night shooting will upset you with an abundance of noise and minimums of small details, only daytime shots will try to combine the naturalness of color rendition and the absence of smudges. A separate headphone jack is left, but it was decided to save money on stereo sound. It is worth noting the fact that there are contactless NFC payments, which are so necessary for millions of people. Thus, the device would have had every chance of breaking out in the bestseller with a reasonable amount of money requested for it, but this did not happen.
