Nokia G400 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Nokia G400 Overview
Nokia G400 - correct actions
Over the past few years, the Nokia company has lost a fair number of loyal fans, because the corporation's smartphones were in many ways inferior to the decisions of their opponents for optimizing software and functionality. This situation was especially relevant for the middle price segment. The hero of today's review is trying to correct the current state of affairs. But does the novelty work well?
The design of the gadget turned out to be ambiguous. The back panel does not cause any complaints due to calm colors and a stylish block of three cameras; there are no complaints about the edging with a fingerprint sensor located on it. Of course, it's hard not to notice the savings on assembly materials (plastic), but the main disappointment comes from the display. Its bezels are visible around the perimeter, and the design of the 16-megapixel selfie camera is frankly outdated. The very quality of the displayed image is at a good level. The resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels is combined with a refresh rate of 120hertz to create a clear and smooth image that will not disappoint with the values of brightness, contrast.
The technical characteristics were the QualcommSnapdragon480 CPU, 6GB ofRAM and the Adreno 619 graphics accelerator. This is not the most productive chipset in the price category, but its balance deserves compliments. Android 11 is devoid of lags noticeable to the eye, applications launch without much delay. Gamers will be able to enjoy all modern games, only projects like Genshin Impact will require a significant reduction in graphics presets. Thanks to the energy efficiency of the processor, the 5000mAh battery demonstrates amazing autonomy in the region of 10-12 hours of active screen time. The volume of internal storage also did not disappoint, while 128GB ofROM can be easily expanded with microSD cards .
48-, 5- and 2-megapixel photo modules are a good tool for capturing daytime photos and videos. Electronic stabilization works well in such conditions, but in the evening it is much more difficult to get the same detailed and natural images due to noise and frequent blurring. There is no stereo sound in the phablet, the only speaker does not really indulge in volume, but the manufacturer has left a separate headphone jack. NFC contactless payments, support for 5G networks are other reasons to look at a gadget that fully justifies the money requested for it.
