At this point, the developer can set itself one of two tasks, namely the release of a full-fledged successor to a successful model or the creation of its slightly improved version with a similar pricing policy. The Nothing company took the second path, but it is difficult to predict the success of the predecessor for the hero of today's review.

The appearance of the new product has retained the signature features of the series. The LED glyphs on the "transparent" glass back panel still look fresh, and the design of the dual camera and thin display frames with a built-in fingerprint scanner are not upsetting. Perhaps, you can only find fault with the plastic edging. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is still the same, but this fact should not be written down as a disadvantage. Excellent brightness level of almost 1500 nits, optimal FullHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and absence of visible errors in color rendering make the AMOLED panel more than competitive. Of course, there is also an oleophobic coating.

The technical characteristics include the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro CPU, 8 GB/12 GB RAM and Mali G68MC4 video adapter. The difference in power compared to the 7200th chip was approximately 5-6%. The chipset scores about 800 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark, so the buyer can count on medium-high graphic presets in all existing gaming applications. At the same time, the processor made using the 4 nm process technology does not suffer from throttling and pleases with decent energy efficiency. The 5000mAh battery lasts for a day and a half, the fast charging power has been increased from 45W to 50W. The permanent memory is 256GB, there is no slot for microSD cards.

The photo capabilities are provided by the 50-megapixel main sensor Samsung ISOCELL GN9 with hybrid stabilization and a wide-angle lens of the same 50MP. Fans of shooting with optical zoom will be disappointed that the gadget does not have a telephoto lens, but other users will be pleased with fairly detailed daytime and evening shots without any shortcomings noticeable to the naked eye. Stereo sound is available, and contactless payments NFC are not forgotten. But there is one problem - an increased price tag, so the device has more competitors. But many of them can offer better performance, photographic capabilities or other parameters. Therefore, it is impossible to recommend the gadget to everyone.
