Oppo Reno10 Pro Global Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
OPPO Reno10 Pro Global Overview
OPPO Reno10 Pro Global is a stripped-down but insanely beautiful flagship
The Reno line of smartphones from the Chinese company Oppo once demonstrated the developer's potential in terms of design, performance and photo capabilities of its products. However, the initiative gradually passed to the Find series, so the hero of today's review no longer evokes enthusiastic emotions. But the latest representative of the Reno-series still has not lost all its charm and competitiveness.
The appearance of the novelty has become its strongest feature. The phone looks flawless in both gray and lilac colors, a stunning exterior is created by the original block of three cameras, pleasant to the touch texture of the back panel, extremely thin display frames. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen could boast a higher resolution than the standard 2412x1080 pixels, but some problems with image clarity are more than compensated for by its smoothness (refresh rate of 120 hertz), correct color reproduction, and accurate operation of the fingerprint sensor. Of course, the AMOLED panel is not without an oleophobic layer.
The power of technical characteristics upsets. In the device of the highest price category, I would like to see a top-end chipset, and not the mid-budget Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. Together with 12GB of RAM and the Adreno 642L video core, it still ensures the performance of any games, but sometimes graphics presets will have to be significantly reduced. Examples of such applications would be the resource-intensive Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. Android 13 works smoothly, it is difficult to express any complaints about the speed of rendering the interface. The processor is energy efficient, so the battery capacity of 4600mAh does not seem modest. The battery needs to be charged once every one and a half days for only 20 minutes (80W fast charging). Permanent memory is allocated 256GB without the possibility of expansion. This amount of ROM will be enough for most buyers.
The photo capabilities of the phablet came out impressive. A high-quality 50MP main sensor with OIS, a remarkable 32MP telephoto lens (2x Zoom) and a decent 8MP wide-angle lens will help you capture high-quality shots without visible flaws even in poor lighting conditions. Detailing does not raise questions, noises appear only in the evening frames, their number is within reasonable limits. Stereo sound is loud, rich, relatively even. NFC contactless payment, support for 5G networks in place, and they saved money on wireless charging and moisture protection. But it is precisely this functionality that would distract from the mediocre CPU and increase the sales of the device. In the current situation, only lovers of the appearance of mobile assistants worked out to the smallest detail should definitely recommend the gadget for purchase.
