OUKITEL C65 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
OUKITEL C65 Pro Overview
OUKITEL C65 Pro - improvements that do not change the situation
The Chinese company OUKITEL is sometimes frankly lazy. Instead of serious improvements to the Pro versions of the released smartphones, the manufacturer makes do with minimal modifications. Thus, the hero of today's review simply offers an increased amount of memory in comparison with its predecessor. However, you don't really want to pay extra money for this.
The appearance of the new product is quite pleasant for its budget. The variety of colors of the cases made of not the worst plastic is complemented by an up-to-date camera block, and a fingerprint scanner located on the side, and a barely noticeable eye of the 8-megapixel selfie camera, and reasonable screen frames in terms of their thickness. But the 6.7-inch display itself could have been better. Old problems in the form of mediocre picture clarity at HD+ resolution, a small supply of brightness (500 nits) remained. But at least the color rendering of the image and its smoothness (refresh rate of 90 Hz) do not disappoint.
Let's move on to the technical characteristics. Now the UNISOC Tiger T606 CPU and Mali G57MC1 graphics adapter work with 8 GB of RAM. If the Android 15 interface has really become a little more responsive, and the number of simultaneously running applications has increased, then with gaming capabilities, everything is unchanged. The most resource-intensive games still look like a slide show, and in less demanding projects like Call of Duty, it is recommended to set low or close to them graphics presets. The internal storage has been expanded to 256 GB, the MicroSD card slot is in place. The battery capacity is 5150 mAh, so autonomy does not raise questions. You can count on about 9-10 hours of active screen time. But the charging power is a reason for disappointment (only 10W).
Photo capabilities have not advanced compared to the previous model. The auxiliary sensors are there only to be beautifully located on the back panel, and the main 50-megapixel module will take good artistic pictures during the day and only in good lighting. The onset of darkness or even cloudy weather leads to errors in color rendering, numerous noises. The sound is the most ordinary, the only speaker does not amaze the imagination with its volume or uniformity of the frequency response. What is really disappointing is the lack of contactless NFC payments. Thus, the increase in the price tag is not entirely justified in the case of the device under review.
