OnePlus 13T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
OnePlus 13T Overview
OnePlus 13T - more compact, simpler, but no worse
The Chinese company OnePlus suddenly remembered about fans of compact flagship smartphones, of which there are quite a few, judging by the sales of small Apple iPhone phones with the S-series from Samsung. However, the hero of today's review is also aimed at fans of "flagship killers" who adore the combination of performance, functionality and low price of mobile assistants.
The appearance of the new product turned out to be interesting and memorable. The developer completely redesigned the design of the photo module block, retained excellent body materials in the form of metal and tempered glass, did not deprive the display of a built-in fingerprint scanner and thin frames. The 6.32-inch AMOLED panel has an excellent resolution of 2640x1216 pixels for a diagonal, making it simply impossible to see a single pixel with the naked eye. Other parameters also do not raise questions. The peak brightness of 4500 nits is enough for all scenarios of using the gadget, the smoothness of the image at a refresh rate of 120 Hz is high, and the color rendering was without obvious errors.
The technical specifications have not been simplified in comparison with the full-size predecessor. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and the Adreno 830 video core are the top configuration, leaving no chance for the OxygenOS shell based on Android 15 (ColorOS in China) or all existing games to lag. Even the resource-intensive Genshin Impact produces more than 60 frames per second with maximum graphics presets. At the same time, the manufacturer magically fit a 6260 mAh battery into the device. You can definitely not think about the nearest sockets for a couple of days. Unfortunately, wireless charging was cut to reduce the cost, there is only its wired analogue with a power of 80W. The permanent memory is allocated 256/512/1024 GB.
Photo capabilities also suffered. The main Sony IMX906 sensor with 50 megapixels and hybrid stabilization copes worse with evening photo sessions. If you do not find fault with the detail, it is difficult not to notice the noise, and the white balance is not always realistic. At the same time, the stereo speakers are loud, have a balanced frequency response. There are contactless payments NFC, support for 5G networks, an IR port. But there is no full-fledged moisture protection, the IP65 standard will still not guarantee the operability of the device after a long stay in water or sand. However, minor flaws still do not spoil the impression of a potential bestseller with a lot of competitive advantages.
