The Chinese company OnePlus has slightly lost its former enthusiasm, when literally every smartphone from its assembly line was distinguished by amazing functionality and performance for the price segment. The appearance of the new product is pleasant and memorable. Thin display frames, a unique block of photo modules, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, and high-quality plastic of the ergonomic body give a positive impression. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen has FullHD+ resolution, a current 120 Hz picture refresh rate, and a brightness level of more than 1500 nits. The latter figure is far from a record, but in direct sunlight the image remains visible. Color rendition is not far from realistic, and the oleophobic coating can also be noted as an advantage of the AMOLED panel.

The technical characteristics do not amaze the imagination, but they do not leave any questions. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with support for 5G networks, 8GB of RAM and the Adreno 619 video adapter guarantee stable operation of Android 14 (ColorOS shell), instant launch of most applications and good gaming capabilities. All modern games are available, but the most resource-intensive Honkai: Star Rail or Fortnite will require significant reductions in graphics settings. 128/256GB of permanent memory are allocated, but a slot for MicroSD cards is left. There is no saving on the battery, the capacity of which has been increased to 5500 mAh with fast charging at 80W. As a result, the battery provides up to two days of active use of the device, which needs to be at the outlet for less than 30 minutes.

If the auxiliary 2-megapixel portrait sensor is worthy only of criticism, then the main 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 module with hybrid stabilization will delight fans of mobile photography. The newest camera easily copes with creating natural colors and at the same time detailed daytime shots. An optimized noise reduction system helps create good evening photos. Stereo speakers are not forgotten; their sound does not disappoint with volume and balance. There are also NFC contactless payments, without which it is difficult to imagine a phone today. Thus, we have before us a device that is affordable in price and at the same time quite technologically advanced, which can be considered for purchase.
