OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G Overview
OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G is a nondescript addition to the range
The Chinese company OnePlus knows how to make excellent flagship smartphones, distinguished by highly detailed software, balanced technical characteristics, and excellent functionality. However, more affordable phones from the same manufacturer are not so impressive. No miracle happened to the hero of today's review.
The appearance of the new product evokes positive emotions, but it is not without some unpleasant shortcomings. The most noticeable of them is the huge bottom bezel of the display. Most of the body is made of polycarbonate, but its quality is quite good. The block of two photomodules is modern; the fingerprint scanner is located on the side, making it convenient to use. The 6.72-inch IPS screen is good in terms of image clarity at FullHD+ resolution and its smoothness at a 90 Hz refresh rate, but is seriously inferior to AMOLED panels in terms of maximum brightness. But a certain percentage of opponents have just such screens.
The MediaTek Dimesnity 6020 processor, 4GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC2 video adapter are not suitable for the most demanding users who only need the smooth Android 13 interface (ColorOS and OxygenOS shells) and relatively quick launch of applications. The gaming capabilities of the CPU are limited; you can only enjoy truly beautiful and demanding games like Genshin Impact with numerous stutters and reduced graphics settings. On the other hand, the chipset offers decent power efficiency, so the buyer only needs to look for the nearest outlet once every one and a half to two days. The 5000mAh battery is equipped with fast charging at 33W, the full capacity is gained in about an hour. The size of the permanent memory was 128GB, so not everyone will regret the lack of a slot for MicroSD cards.
The main 50 and 2 megapixel photo modules are the weak component of the device. Even daytime photographs then come out expressionless, with noise and errors in color rendering. The evening shots are mostly blurry, without proper detail. As for the sound, stereo speakers are responsible for it; even the bass can be heard in musical compositions. NFC contactless payments and support for 5G networks are present, which cannot be said about the jack for wired headphones. Thus, the gadget is inferior to a number of competitors in many respects and at the same time does not surprise with its modest price. It is difficult to definitely recommend it for purchase.
