The model was extremely successful, so the corporation decided to slightly refresh it and re-launch it. Is this the right move? Let's figure it out.

The appearance of the new product is almost identical to that of the "ordinary" predecessor. Only the color of the back panel, stylized as leather, has changed. The round block of photo modules has been transferred without changes, the edging is still metal, the display frames are similar, the location of the fingerprint sensor on the side. Both the main 7.82-inch AMOLED screen (2440x2268 pixels) and the additional 6.31-inch AMOLED panel (2484x1116 pixels) are characterized by excellent image clarity, excellent picture smoothness at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and an impressive peak brightness of almost 3000 nits. Separately, it is necessary to praise the color rendition calibration and the effectiveness of the oleophobic layer.

The technical characteristics are no longer top-end, but no less relevant Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 16 GB of RAM and Adreno 740 video adapter. 1,300,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark indicate decent performance of the device, there will be no need to limit the graphics settings in Genshin Impact or Fortnite. Of course, the power of the chipset is also visible in the responsiveness of the Android 13 interface. The processor's energy efficiency is high, but the battery life cannot be considered excellent due to the battery capacity of 4800 mAh. You will have to look for sockets once a day. Wireless charging is not provided, but its wired counterpart received a power of 67 W (about 40-45 minutes from 0 to 100% battery charge). The permanent memory is now as much as 1024 GB, it is unlikely that there will be a user who will not have enough of this ROM size.

The main 48-megapixel Sony LYT-T808 sensor and the wide-angle IMX581 lens in the same 48 MP, the 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens with a three-fold optical zoom are also equipped with hybrid stabilization, thanks to which the photo capabilities of the device are no worse than those of other camera phones. Even taking evening shots with dynamic objects won't be difficult. It's hard to find fault with the detail of such shots, and there's little noise in them. The stereo sound is rich, loud, and suitable even for playing instrumental music. NFC contactless payments, 5G support, optimized proprietary software, and an IR port for controlling household appliances will only further encourage people to buy this wonderful gadget.
