OnePlus Pad 5G is a long-awaited new product
The Chinese company OnePlus can be considered a conservative, because the corporation reluctantly left the higher price segment of smartphones and, in general, did not really want to adapt to the updated operating conditions. Especially for a long time, fans of the company have been waiting for a tablet from it, which is so necessary for a significant part of the audience. And it seems that the dream of brand fans is finally coming true.
The work of the designers is commendable. The rather narrow bezels of the huge 11.6-inch IPS display, the stylish minimalism of the glass back panel, the metal edging - this is an incomplete list of the advantages of the device's exterior. Of course, the IPS panel with a resolution of 2800x2000 pixels will get the most compliments. The picture is clear in the end while maintaining good energy efficiency of the AMOLED screen, the 144-Hz image refresh rate and an impressive margin of brightness are pleasing.
The manufacturer tried in every possible way to keep the cost of the device, but it still has top-end technical characteristics. It is hardly possible to be upset by the performance of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU, 8GB / 12GB of RAM and the Mali G710 MC10 video chip. The functionality of the processor is clearly not limited to browsers or book readers, because even the most beautiful and resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact run without lags and at impressive graphics settings. At the same time, the above bundle does not consume much energy, the 9510mAh battery used is enough for one and a half to two days of interaction with an Android tablet. There is also fast charging at 67W, so the full capacity is gained in about two hours. Depending on the version of the unit, the user gets from 128 to 256GB of ROM in UFS 3.1 format.
The photo capabilities of cameras are the weakest component of the gadget. The 13-megapixel main photomodule is capable of creating a high-quality picture, for this you will need close to ideal lighting, static objects. The 8-megapixel selfie camera is only suitable for video calls. A reasonable price and OS optimization complete the portrait of a device worth buying.
