OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro Overview
OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro - A Small but Significant Surcharge
Sometimes the price difference between the original model and its Pro version can be only a few dozen dollars, but the gap between them in a number of areas can be simply enormous. A similar situation has occurred with the new models from the Chinese company OnePlus. Therefore, purchasing the device in today's review seems a much more compelling option.
The device's appearance is more than competitive. Although the case is made of polycarbonate, the material quality is high, the matte texture and stylish colors are pleasing to the eye. Unlike its smaller sibling, this all-in-one device has full IP68 dust and moisture protection. It's also hard to miss the beautiful camera module and thin screen bezels with an integrated fingerprint scanner around the entire perimeter. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel delivers near-flagship-quality images. It boasts a high resolution of 2772x1272 pixels, an impressive 144Hz refresh rate with correspondingly smooth performance, and a peak brightness of 6500 nits. You won't have to strain your eyes trying to see content in direct sunlight.
Technical specifications include a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, 8GB/12GB of RAM, and a Mali G615-MC2 graphics adapter. There's no significant upgrade here. Buyers can still expect smooth Android 16 operation and relatively stable gaming performance with low-to-medium graphics settings. Battery life is slightly longer thanks to the energy-efficient AMOLED display. The 8000mAh battery only needs to be charged once every two or three days. Charging power has been increased to 80W, requiring approximately 45-50 minutes of charging time. As for storage, it's 128GB/256GB, with no microSD card slot.
Photography capabilities are still far from ideal, but noticeably improved. The secondary camera module now features an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and the main 50-megapixel sensor now features hybrid image stabilization. The changes are particularly noticeable in evening photography. There's significantly less noise and blur, while detail is more pronounced. Stereo sound, NFC contactless payment, 5G support, and an IR blaster add to the list of advantages of this device, which isn't the most powerful, but it's a well-balanced, attractive, and functional one.
