Oppo A16 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oppo A16 Overview
Oppo A16 - smartphone without audience
The mobile phone market is represented today by thousands of different models, it is easy to get lost in the variety of which. Of course, such an assortment is not complete without successful devices, which are praised by both critics and ordinary users. However, most of the sold Android-smartphones are deprived of commercial success due to the discrepancy between price, quality, design and functionality. Unfortunately, the hero of today's review definitely belongs to the second category.
The appearance of the novelty, although not perfect, is still its strong point. A beautiful block of four cameras, an almost frameless screen with an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the corner, and a side fingerprint sensor help the gadget look very modern. The body is made of plastic, but it is difficult to criticize this material, because the phablet belongs to the low-middle price segment. But the 6.5-inch IPS screen could be better. HD + resolution is lower than that of many opponents, and the brightness and contrast parameters are far from record. There is practically no oleophobic coating on the glass, which negatively affects the comfort of working with the device.
Specifications are extremely controversial. If you use a device for calls, instant messengers and web surfing, then the combination of the Mediatek Helio G35 processor, 4GB of RAM and the PowerVR GE8320 graphics adapter will be enough for you to smoothly these tasks. With games, such a bundle does a poor job, the most resource-intensive applications like Fortnite are simply unplayable. For entertainment, you will have to be content with only casual Android games. But the amount of internal memory of 64GB is supplemented by a slot for microSD cards . The installed chipset is quite energy efficient, which, together with a 5000mAh battery, provides about 10-12 hours of active screen time. As a result, autonomy will be a feature of the gadget, because of which it can at least potentially be considered for purchase.
With photographic capabilities, the situation is worse. 13- and 2-megapixel (three auxiliary sensors) photomodules are suitable only for daytime photography, provided the objects are stationary. In other scenarios, frames will be spoiled either by noise, or by loss of details, or smears, or all at once. There are no contactless NFC payments, the manufacturer also saved on stereo sound. Thus, we have before us a mediocre Android smartphone, the modest advantages of which will be a couple of days without the need for recharging and a rather attractive exterior.
