The Chinese company Oppo has vast experience in the production of smartphones, which is noticeably reflected in their quality and compliance with the price segment. However, not every corporation phone gets approval from the audience. Thus, the A93 model was criticized for its poor technical characteristics and photographic capabilities. Unfortunately, the successor of the device, represented by the hero of today's review, does not correct all the disadvantages of its predecessor.

The appearance of the novelty is slightly more interesting than the previous one. The design of the four cameras remains the same, but the tempered glass back itself features a modified texture and color. The dual selfie camera of 20 megapixels is slightly smaller in size and now is not so striking, it is located in the upper left corner of the screen. The display has decreased diagonally, the 6.2-inch AMOLED panel with FullHD + resolution gives excellent detail, brightness and contrast almost at the flagship level. At the same time, the AMOLED screen is endowed with a picture refresh rate of 90 hertz , which also contributes to the attractiveness of the displayed image.

The Mediatek Helio P95 processor has not become more productive over the past time. Together with 6GB of RAM and a PowerVR GE9446 video adapter, this chip copes with resource-intensive games, but the graphics settings will often be low-average in such projects. There is no support for 5G networks. However, the chipset has its own merits. The CPU does not heat up during long gaming sessions, while the increased energy efficiency helps you get a couple of days from a 4000mAh battery without recharging. 128GB of ROM in UFS 2.1 format was supplemented with a separate slot for MicroSD cards . Storing your favorite music albums, movies and applications will not be a problem.

The quartet is led by the main camera 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor. The module is not the newest, but it guarantees high-quality day and night shooting. Of course, due to the lack of optical stabilization, blurring in night photos is possible, and the noise will not be close to the minimum values, but even such photos are difficult to criticize. NFC contactless payments, modified Android Q are other advantages of the gadget, but the device does not have a headphone jack and stereo speakers. As a result, the device produces mixed impressions due to the immodest price and technological backwardness at a number of points.
