Oppo Reno 13 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oppo Reno 13 Pro Overview
Oppo Reno 13 Pro - a full-fledged replacement for the flagship
Sometimes in the Reno line of smartphones from the Chinese company Oppo there are such models that even after a short acquaintance the most sophisticated user will want to buy. And the hero of today's review just becomes such a gadget, the functionality of which is indecently good for the requested price tag.
The appearance of the new product is stylish and well-designed. Excellent ergonomics of the case made of metal and tempered glass is complemented by a really beautiful block of photo modules, thin screen frames, magnificent color solutions of the rear panels. The 6.83-inch AMOLED panel does not surprise with a brightness reserve (1500 nits), but maintains overall high image quality due to an impressive resolution of 2800x1272 pixels, a 120-hertz refresh rate, and its natural color rendering. High-quality oleophobic coating is also in place.
The technical characteristics are represented by the fresh MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, 12/16 GB of RAM and the Mali G615MC6 video accelerator. Of course, 1,300,000 points in the AnTuTu test can no longer be considered a record, but even such a result indicates the excellent responsiveness of the Android 15 interface, instant launch of most applications and, of course, the remarkable gaming capabilities of the CPU. Fans of such resource-intensive projects as Fortnite, Genshin Impact, Wreckfest will work smoothly with graphics settings close to the maximum presets. The battery capacity is brought to 5800 mAh, which is higher than the standard values for the price segment. Autonomy will often be around 10 hours of active screen time. At the same time, in addition to fast wired charging at 80 W, its wireless counterpart with a decent power of 50 W is provided. The permanent memory can be allocated from 256 to 1024 GB depending on the configuration.
The Pro version has acquired a 50 MP telephoto lens with OIS and a three-fold optical zoom, so capturing distant objects has become much easier. A good 8-megapixel photosensor cannot be seriously criticized, and the main 50-megapixel sensor from Sony with hybrid stabilization is not far from camera phones in terms of frame detail. Stereo sound is present, the volume and uniformity of the frequency response do not raise questions. NFC contactless payments, 5G network support, and even protection from dust and moisture according to IP68 standards add to the list of advantages of an almost ideal device for its money.
