Oppo Reno 8T 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oppo Reno 8T 5G Overview
Oppo Reno 8T 5G is an inexpensive but very nice smartphone
The Chinese company Oppo knows how to make great products in any category of devices, including mobile phones. However, the competition in the modern market is incredibly high, so simply creating a competitive device is not a guarantee of success. Fortunately, an experienced producer knows how to attract an audience.
The appearance of the novelty is extremely good. Of course, if you wish, you can find some flaws (glossy plastic back panel and edging), but the combination of a stylish triple camera, beautiful body colors, thin display bezels and a convenient ergonomic monoblock shape definitely pleases within the middle price segment. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen also turned out great. A resolution of 2412x1080 pixels is adjacent to an impressive 120 Hz refresh rate and a large margin of brightness. The under-display fingerprint scanner, which accurately handles almost 100% of touches, will not cause negativity either.
Specifications came out balanced in terms of performance and energy efficiency. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 8GB of RAM and the Adreno 619 video accelerator get rid of the unpleasant lags in the Android 13 interface, and also give good gaming capabilities. Of course, the most resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact will require a significant reduction in graphic settings, but less demanding PUBG, Asphalt 9 and Call Of Duty show phenomenally smooth gameplay at maximum presets. The battery received a capacity of 4800mAh. This is a standard indicator by today's standards, however, the applied chipset helps to achieve up to two days of phablet operation from the battery. Fast charging at 67W is an excellent bonus to autonomy. 128/256GB of ROM are expandable with MicroSD cards, so you won't have to worry about running out of memory to store applications, photos and videos.
With photo opportunities, the situation is a little more controversial. The auxiliary 2-megapixel portrait sensor is almost useless, but the 108-megapixel main sensor from Samsung, even without optical stabilization, can surprise you with highly detailed daytime shots without noise and blurring. Evening shots are no longer so ideal, but a special shooting mode significantly increases the number of captured small objects. The stereo speakers are quite loud, even if the frequency response reproduced by them is far from ideal. Bass is still not enough for comfortable playback of your favorite music. Pluses to all of the above are NFC contactless payments, support for 5G networks and a reasonable price tag at the level of that of the nearest opponents. Thus, the gadget will certainly receive several hundred thousand satisfied customers around the world..
