Oppo Reno6 Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oppo Reno6 Pro+ Overview
Oppo Reno6 Pro+ is a good addition
Reno-line of smartphones of the Chinese company Oppo has always been popular both in China and outside its territory. Not the cheapest phones fully justified their price with functionality, thoughtful design and top-end performance. However, the accelerating pace of the industry is forcing manufacturers to update their flagship lines with increasing frequency. As a result, new items are often almost indistinguishable from their predecessors. But these words hardly apply to the hero of today's review.
The exterior of the gadget has been updated. The asymmetrical block of four cameras looks stylish, the screen frames smoothly merge into the side edges. The case still pleases with the materials of assembly in the form of glass and metal, its ergonomics are not satisfactory. Located in the corner of the display , the 32MP front camera does not upset the quality of selfies, and the AMOLED screen itself is characterized by a responsive built-in fingerprint scanner. The 6.55-inchAMOLED panel also deserves compliments with its incredibly bright and contrasting picture with a refresh rate of 90hertz . The developer did not chase the record resolution, however, the image at 2408x1080 pixels does not upset the clarity and has a beneficial effect on the device's power consumption.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon870 processor remained on the list of technical specifications along with 8GB / 12GB ofRAM and an Adreno 650 video adapter. Even though there is no increase in gaming power, the chipset is still capable of surprising with maximum settings in resource-intensive games. The CPU is not very "cold", but there is no heating of the rear panel, throttling is negligible. Of course, Android 11 based on the ColorOS shell and less demanding apps launch and function just like lightning fast. The internal storage capacity of 128 / 256GB of UFS 3.1 format will be sufficient even for owners of large collections of videos, photos and music.
Another significant plus of the phablet is its photographic capabilities. The main 50- (Sony IMX766), 16- (wide-angle lens), 13- (telephoto) and 2-megapixel (portrait sensor) are endowed with 2x optical zoom and sophisticated hybrid stabilization to create near-flawless photos and videos even in low light. The loss of detail is minimal, as is the amount of noise. The gadget would not be so attractive without a capacious 4500mAh battery. You won't have to think about recharging for a day and a half or two. It should be noted the presence of stereo sound, NFC contactless payments. Thus, the device simply has nothing to criticize, except for an inflated price tag. But it looks like the overpayment is worth it.
