Oppo Reno7 Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oppo Reno7 Pro+ Overview
Oppo Reno7 Pro+ - a camera phone that brings perfection closer
Reno-line of smartphones from the Chinese company Oppo has always delighted fans of mobile photography, significantly surpassing many opponents in the quality of the created material. However, every year it is more difficult to surprise sophisticated photographers, because progress does not stand still, and requests are becoming higher. Fortunately, the hero of today's review has something to offer a demanding audience.
The appearance of the novelty cannot be considered the most attractive in the price segment, or at least really original. However, the overall rigor and minimalism of the applied design concept also attracts attention and evokes positive emotions. A neat triple camera in the corner of the back panel made of tempered glass, a small thickness of the case, a cooling metal edging, a display smoothly turning to the side edges - all this is combined into a beautiful Android smartphone that is not ashamed to be shown to others. The developer did not chase the record resolution of the installed 6.7-inchAMOLED panel ( 2400x1080 pixels), but seriously worked on other screen parameters. A huge margin of brightness preserves the visibility of the reproduced content even in the open summer sun, the black contrast is off scale, and the effectiveness of the oleophobic layer is excellent. Of course, it was not without a responsive fingerprint sensor of increased accuracy and the same smoothness of the picture at a refresh rate of 120hertz .
The technical characteristics are presented by the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon888Plus chipset, 12GB / 16GB ofRAM (it is possible to add 7GB / 9GB from ROM if necessary) and the Adreno 660 graphics adapter. Genshin Impact or Fortnite at maximum graphics presets do not lead to significant frequency drops. The energy efficiency of the processor is not high , but it is reasonable to expect about 8-9 hours of active screen time from a 5000mAh battery, both fast wired charging at 65W and its wireless counterpart, albeit not differing in such power, are available. The size of the internal storage has been brought up to 256 / 512GB in UFS 3.1 format.
The main 50-, 16-, 13- and 5-megapixel cameras led by the Sony IMX 800 delight with sophisticated optical stabilization, hybrid 50x zoom and the ability to create brilliant photos and videos even in frankly poor lighting conditions. Getting a noisy or blurry shot is extremely difficult. Even stereo sound with decent volume did not disappoint, the gadget also has contactless NFC payments and support for 5G networks. The only critical drawback of the device is a very immodest price, which, however, you just want to pay for a long list of advantages of an excellent device.
