OUKITEL C57S Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oukitel C57S Overview
Oukitel C57S - a total failure?
The time has come in the smartphone market when a user can buy a fully functional mobile assistant for an extremely affordable amount of money. However, a number of manufacturers for some reason are trying to move their new products to an even lower price segment. Unfortunately, after a certain cost threshold, the performance, functionality and other parameters of the devices begin to noticeably fall, which is why its relevance also decreases to zero. And it seems that this is exactly what happened to the hero of today's review.
The design of the unit is its strongest side. A beautiful block of two cameras, memorable body colors and not the widest screen frames allow the phablet to look more expensive than the real price tag. It's a pity that the fingerprint scanner was removed in order to save money. But the 6.52-inch display itself is frankly mediocre. A ridiculous resolution of 1280x576 pixels by today's standards, which will not allow you to watch online videos in 720p, a modest brightness of 500 nits, the lack of an increased refresh rate and faded color rendition will not leave a positive impression even on an unpretentious buyer.
The technical characteristics include the UNISOC SC9863A processor, 2 GB of RAM and the PowerVR GE8322 video adapter. Due to the meager amount of RAM, the device runs a lightweight Android 14 Go, but even its interface is not without lags, and the number of simultaneously running applications tends to 1-2. You will simply have to forget about resource-intensive games, even undemanding projects like Call Of Duty Mobile will often crash to the desktop. The internal storage is allocated 64 GB, but at least it can be expanded with MicroSD cards. There are fewer complaints about autonomy. The 4300mAh battery lasts 7-8 hours of active screen time. The charging power was a minimum of 5W.
The photo capabilities are also not surprising. The 13- and 0.3-megapixel main cameras will not always be able to produce detailed shots of documents, let alone artistic shots. There is no stereo sound, but you can listen to your favorite music with wired headphones. There is a separate connector for them. But fans of NFC contactless payments need to look for an alternative to the gadget in question. As a result, the device is disappointing with too many disadvantages. It is recommended to add 10-20 dollars and buy a phone of a much higher class.
