OUKITEL WP19 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oukitel WP19 Pro Overview
Oukitel WP19 Pro - durable power bank with smartphone functions
Today there are a lot of fans of standalone phones with water protection according to IP68 standards. This part of the market audience is ready to put up with the dimensions of the devices and their mediocre ergonomics, but sometimes developers go beyond all possible limits. Thus, the ease of use of the hero of today’s review is unlikely to be responded positively.
The appearance of the new product was very controversial. Of course, the exterior is able to attract attention with a beautiful triple camera unit, a leather-like texture of the rear panel, a metal edging with a fingerprint scanner, but the impression of the design is spoiled by the enormous weight of the candy bar of 570 grams, its thickness is almost three centimeters. It is simply impossible to control such a gadget with one hand. The 6.78-inch IPS screen deserves less negativity. A resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels is quite relevant for the price segment, and the 120 Hz refresh rate of the image is also pleasing. The display does not have any noticeable problems with color rendering, but the brightness reserve is still not enough to work with the mobile assistant in direct sunlight. However, this situation is standard for most IPS panels.
The technical characteristics were the MediaTek Helio G99 CPU, 12GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC2 video core. The relevance of the bundle is gradually coming to an end, but for now its performance is sufficient for everyday use of the unit. The Android 13 interface is quite smooth and responsive, browsers, instant messengers and media players open quickly, without delay. Gaming capabilities are not bad, but really resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact will be playable on low graphics presets. The final image in them will not cause delight. But the 22000 mAh battery needs to be recharged only once every 5-7 days. It’s a pity that you will have to stay at the outlet for about 7 hours (charging with a power of 33W). The size of permanent memory has been increased to 256GB, it can be increased with MicroSD cards.
The main photo modules are a 64-megapixel Samsung GW3 main sensor without optical stabilization, a 20-megapixel monochrome Sony IMX350 night vision module and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Of course, you can’t expect flagship quality photos and videos, but with good lighting and the absence of an abundance of moving objects, getting a detailed frame won’t take several takes. There is no stereo sound, but one speaker produces a volume of over 85dB. NFC contactless payments are available, which simplifies the shopping process in supermarkets. However, an incredibly heavy and large gadget, with all its functionality, is unlikely to become a real hit.
