OUKITEL WP26 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Oukitel WP26 Overview
Oukitel WP26 - bright in every way
The Chinese company Oukitel does not cease to diversify the range of its rugged smartphones. So, in addition to balanced technical characteristics, the manufacturer is trying to add original competitive advantages. For example, the hero of today's review is equipped with an incredibly powerful flashlight that fits harmoniously into its design.
The appearance of the novelty cannot be considered ideal, because protection against dust and moisture according to IP68 standards has led to a significant increase in the dimensions of the monoblock. However, they are trying to correct the situation with a stylish block of photomodules, an LED panel with a brightness of 1200 lumens, and a convenient side fingerprint scanner. The bezels of the 6.58-inch display are hard to miss, and the design of the 16-megapixel selfie camera is a little frustrating. But the quality of the picture displayed on the screen is not worse than that of most opponents. The image does not completely lose visibility in direct sunlight, individual pixels cannot be seen at a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. There are no critical deviations in the transfer of colors.
The MediaTek Helio P90 processor has been on the market for several years, but it still remains relevant. The chipset made its way into the low-mid price segment, where, with 8GB of RAM and a PowerVR GM9446 video adapter, it scores about 200 thousand points in the AnTuTu Benchmark test and significantly reduces the number of lags in the Android 13 interface. Of course, sophisticated gamers will not be satisfied with the overall performance, but not the most resource-intensive games like Call Of Duty function without any problems. But for Genshin Impact, it is better to get a device with a more interesting CPU. The battery capacity was 10,000 mAh, so autonomy reaches impressive values. Sometimes a mobile assistant will not require you to search for an outlet for up to 3-4 days. But the charging power is a modest 18W, so the whole process will take up to 4-5 hours. The internal storage size of 256GB will reduce the need for microSD cards, although there is a corresponding slot.
The main cameras were the main 48-megapixel module from Samsung, a 20-megapixel monochrome night lens and a 2-megapixel macro module. If the user is unlikely to use the latest sensors often, then the 48MP camera is ready to give dozens of detailed daytime shots and good evening shots with due skill of the photographer and with several takes. The sound does not cause delight, one speaker is responsible for it. The volume is at a decent level, but there are practically no low frequencies. But there is NFC and a democratic price tag, which, together with other advantages, help to ignore some of the shortcomings of an excellent phablet.
