Realme 10 Pro Overview
Realme 10 Pro - when the price becomes the only problem
Proper product positioning is one of the main keys to its success. A similar statement is true for the smartphone market. So, sometimes an extremely balanced device is doomed to failure due to the excessive greed of the developer and, as a result, an overpriced price. This is exactly the situation that has developed with the hero of today's review.
The appearance of the device is not satisfactory. The designers tried to attract the buyer with the original colors of the monoblock, the convenience of a side fingerprint sensor, a neat dual camera unit and thin bezels for an IPS display. The illusion of an ideal exterior collapses a little when you get to know the phone, namely its plastic back panel and the same edging. Fingerprints and a lot of micro-scratches remain on the glossy case. The 6.72-inch IPS screen leaves mostly positive emotions. The margin of brightness is not always sufficient for the direct rays of the sun, but in terms of picture clarity at a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, its smoothness at 120 Hz refresh rate and natural color reproduction, the display is excellent.
The technical characteristics were the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with support for 5G networks, 8GB of RAM and the Adreno 619 video core. The bundle offers a combination of good performance and decent energy efficiency, thanks to which you can conquer the well-developed open worlds of Genshin Impact for hours or destroy hundreds of enemy tanks in World Of Tanks Blitz. However, graphics presets in resource-intensive games still need to be significantly reduced to achieve smooth gameplay. Thus, the chipset is not bad, but in the cost category there are more powerful solutions (for example, MediaTek Dimensity 920). The 5000 mAh battery demonstrates autonomy at the level of one and a half days of active screen time, fast charging with a power of 33W is supported. The size of the built-in memory is 128/256GB, the ROM can be expanded with microSD cards.
The main 108- and 2-megapixel photomodules are deprived of OIS (optical stabilization) and cannot compete with the best camera phones, but it is very easy to create a beautiful daytime shot with excellent detail with their help. Evening photography is not so easy for sensors; to get a photo without excess noise and blurring, you will have to take several takes. The applied stereo speakers are loud, the bass is heard. Among other advantages, we note the optimized Android 13, NFC contactless payments. Unfortunately, the impression of the novelty spoils because of its price tag. If it were slightly cheaper, we would have expected a 100% hit.
