Realme 10T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme 10T Overview
Realme 10T - repetition is not good
The Chinese company Realme also faced the global economic crisis. Unfortunately, this fact is gradually reflected in the products of the corporation. The increase in the performance of technical characteristics in new products has stopped, as well as the development of the photographic capabilities of cameras. Some models simply repeat the previously released ones with minor differences. The hero of today's review also belongs to this group of devices.
The design looks somewhat outdated compared to that of opponents. The problem lies in the combination of the outdated design of the 8-megapixel selfie camera, as well as the widespread use of plastic. The rear glass panel would be not only prettier, but more interesting in terms of tactility. Of course, a triple photo module, an ergonomic side fingerprint scanner and thin frames for an IPS display try to smooth out the impression of the exterior minuses, but they only partially succeed. The IPS screen does not cause claims. It is distinguished by its high FullHD + resolution and sufficient brightness for the direct rays of the sun. It's nice to know that the manufacturer has not forgotten about the picture refresh rate of 90 hertz. With it, the displayed image adds in smoothness, due to which the performance of the gadget seems higher.
The MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor no longer looks like such a great option for mid-range devices, which it would have been a year ago. Of course, 8GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC2 video core help the chipset not fall into the dirt when running modern games, but not all of them will be truly efficient. So, Fortnite or Genshin Impact, known for their resource intensity, will upset you with slowdowns and friezes in the gameplay at any graphic presets, including the minimum ones. The energy efficiency of the CPU has not disappeared, so a 5000 mAh battery will postpone the need to search for outlets or power banks for a day and a half. But the power of fast charging could exceed the modest 18W. It is possible to see noticeable 100% capacity only after 3 hours. The size of the internal memory is definitely the strength of the phone, because an impressive 256GB is expandable with microSD cards.
The main cameras evoke mixed emotions. Users will be disappointed by the useless 2-megapixel secondary sensors, as well as the evening photography capabilities of Samsung's 50-megapixel main sensor. Fortunately, the abundance of noise and reduced detail does not apply to daytime photos. The mono speaker is loud, but it seriously lacks bass. Contactless payments have passed by the phablet, the list of shortcomings is replenished. Thus, the device hardly deserves grandiose sales due to the presence of a number of obvious shortcomings that are not easy to put up with.
