Realme 11 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme 11 Pro Overview
Realme 11 Pro - when you don't want to hear customers
The tenth generation of inexpensive mid-range smartphones from Realme turned out to be clearly not the most successful. If the design of devices has become more interesting, then the technical characteristics have remained at the same performance levels, and the final price is now even worse. Unfortunately, the developer did not listen to the indignation of the audience and, in fact, released the same controversial device with minor changes.
The appearance of the novelty has undergone a series of metamorphoses. The most noticeable of them is the updated round block of photomodules, the colors of the polycarbonate cases have also been changed. The material is not as pleasant to the touch as compared to glass, but is less likely to break when dropped. A sub-screen fingerprint sensor, small screen frames have a positive effect on the perception of the phablet, and the quality of the 6.7-inch AMOLED display is also pleasing. A rich and bright picture with FullHD + resolution is also characterized by a 120-Hz refresh rate. The glass AMOLED screen and the protective film have an oleophobic coating.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor is a good, but still not very productive solution in the value category. About 500 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark are achieved using 8GB / 12GB of RAM and the Mali G68MC4 video adapter, there is room for running modern games, but compromises must be made in demanding projects. So, the resource-intensive Fortnite is not replete with lags only with low-medium graphic presets. The energy efficiency of the chipset with a 6nm process technology is excellent, you won’t have to worry about recharging a 5000mAh battery for a couple of days. But the power of fast charging could be higher than 67W. You need to be at the outlet for more than an hour. The size of the internal storage is limited to 128/256GB of ROM, there is no microSD card slot, which is disappointing.
The photo capabilities of the main cameras are amazing due to the presence of optical stabilization. They didn't skimp on it, so the 100- and 2-megapixel sensors don't add a lot of noise to evening and indoor shots. The detail of the received frames is very high. Stereo sound is present, but the volume is not a record, and the top speaker is weaker than the bottom one. Among the additional advantages, we highlight contactless NFC payments, an optimized RealmeUI shell based on Android 13 and 5G support. However, the peculiar choice of the CPU calls into question its commercial success.
