It's rare that a phone in the mid-price segment awakens enthusiastic emotions among the majority of buyers. One way or another, the manufacturer has to save money to maintain a reasonable cost. However, truly experienced and talented developers like the Chinese company Realme are able to make compromises invisible. That is why the hero of today's review claims to be a bestseller.

It’s very easy to fall in love with the detailed design of the new product. The back panel, stylized as leather, is also decorated with gold-colored decorative elements, a beautiful and memorable combination, complemented by an updated block of photo modules, an under-screen fingerprint scanner and, of course, a magnificent frameless display. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen tries to keep up with more expensive opponents in terms of picture smoothness (120 Hz refresh rate), its brightness (the maximum level is almost 2000 nits), and realistic color reproduction. Perhaps, only the clarity of the image with a resolution of 2412x1080 pixels makes us understand that we are not dealing with a flagship AMOLED panel.

The technical characteristics were the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU, 8GB/12GB of RAM and the Adreno 710 video accelerator. The combination cannot be considered a record for performance, but it provides an extremely smooth Android 14 interface (the RealmeUI shell functions), more than 600 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark. Even avid gamers will not be left without entertainment, but you need to understand that resource-intensive games like Honkai: Star Rail or Fortnite will provide stable gameplay only with low-medium graphics presets. The newest chipset is also very energy efficient; the number of hours of active screen time from a 5000 mAh battery will often exceed 9-10. Fast wired charging with a power of 67W reduces your time at the outlet to 30-35 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no wireless analogue; its use would have a negative impact on the final price tag of the phablet.

Photographic capabilities are represented by a high-quality main 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with hybrid stabilization, an excellent 64-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle module. Only the last photo sensor raises complaints; the rest of the cameras easily create detailed photos and videos even in the evening. At the same time, there is practically no noise or grease. The stereo speakers do not disappoint with volume, the frequency response is balanced. NFC contactless payments are present, and support for 5G networks is also available. The internal storage size varies from 128 to 256GB. Thus, we have before us a representative of its value category that is close to ideal.
