Realme 13 Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme 13 Pro+ Overview
Realme 13 Pro+ - segment improvement
The Chinese company Realme never tires of improving its products literally every day. Sometimes, in an effort to achieve perfection, the corporation is too far ahead of its competitors. Thus, a manufacturer popular all over the world decided, after not a very long time, to release an updated line of the middle price category, the representatives of which have noticeably advanced in photo capabilities.
The appearance of the new product continues the design concept of its predecessors. The familiar round block of photo modules is complemented by memorable case colors (there is also a stylized leather version), thin display frames with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The 6.7-inch AMOLED panel retained the FullHD+ resolution, so there is no need to talk about record-breaking picture clarity. But it has a number of trump cards in the form of excellent color rendering, a brightness reserve of as much as 4000 nits, and an up-to-date 120-Hz image refresh rate. An effective oleophobic coating has not been forgotten either.
The technical characteristics are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8GB/12GB of RAM and the Adreno 710 video accelerator. The bundle is extremely energy efficient and at the same time scores more than 600 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark. The absence of throttling also has a positive effect on the performance of the Android 14 OS and all modern gaming applications. Surprisingly, even the resource-intensive Genshin Impact functions stably and smoothly with not the most modest graphics settings. The 5200mAh battery provides up to ten hours of active screen time, which is higher than the indicators of its closest competitors. Fast wired charging at 80W reduces the time spent at the outlet to 30 minutes. 256/512GB of permanent memory is allocated, there is no slot for MicroSD cards. The photographic capabilities of the unit have been upgraded. The technological main photo module Sony LYT-701 in 50MP with hybrid stabilization is supplemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens LYT-600 with a three-fold optical zoom from the same developer and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor so that even evening and night shots are not deprived of an abundance of details with a minimum of noise. Stereo sound does not disappoint both in volume and in the balance of the frequency response. Of course, the device has not lost support for 5G networks and contactless payments NFC. Complaining about the lack of moisture protection and wireless charging is hardly possible given the price tag of the device and its many other advantages. As a result, it is possible and even necessary to recommend the considered gadget for purchase.
