Realme 15T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme 15T Overview
Realme 15T - Durability Without Compromise
Most fans of affordable smartphones with IP68 water resistance have become accustomed to the typical drawbacks of this class, the main one being the excessive size of these mobile assistants and, consequently, mediocre ergonomics. However, the Chinese company Realme disagrees and has released a convenient, balanced, and functional device at an extremely affordable price.
The appearance of the new device is more than attractive. Water and dust resistance are combined with a slim body made of high-quality polycarbonate. The bezels of the 6.57-inch AMOLED panel are small, the candy bar color options are varied, and the camera module is stylish and modern. The image quality is excellent for this price segment. The FullHD+ resolution is sufficient for crisp content. The developer didn't skimp on brightness, peaking at up to 4000 nits, or on smoothness (144 Hz refresh rate). A built-in fingerprint scanner is also included.
The specifications include a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 CPU, 8GB/12GB of RAM, and a Mali G57MC2 GPU. That's right, this is the Helio G90T/G95, upgraded for the umpteenth time. We get around 400,000 points in AnTuTu, and the RealmeUI interface based on Android 15 is responsive, but gaming performance is lackluster. Notoriously resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail will require a significant reduction in graphics settings, often down to the lowest presets. The storage is 128 or 256 GB, with a microSD card slot. The battery capacity has been increased to 7000 mAh (silicon-carbon), so you can realistically expect 10-12 hours of active screen time. The charging power (60W) has also been upgraded to meet current standards.
The photography capabilities of the 50- and 2-megapixel cameras are far from perfect, but they offer the required basic level of performance. Taking detailed shots during the day is easy, and images won't be riddled with noise or blur. However, you can't expect the same results in the evening due to the lack of optical stabilization. The manufacturer has generously included stereo sound, NFC contactless payments, and 5G support. Thus, this is a robust device in every respect, sure to win the hearts of its audience.
