Realme C53 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme C53 Overview
Realme C53 - inexpensive and uninteresting
The Chinese company Realme is able to create great smartphones in any price category, which it has proven time and again. However, every time it is difficult to revolutionize the market, because the development of relevant and competitive phones requires significant labor and financial costs. That is why the range of products provided sometimes has to be filled with devices like the hero of the review.
The appearance of the novelty can be attributed to the list of its advantages, albeit with some stretch. The problem lies both in the outdated design of the 8-megapixel selfie camera, and in the huge bottom bezel of the screen. A beautiful block of cameras, a fingerprint scanner placed on the side and wisely chosen colors of cases made of fairly high-quality plastic atone for the shortcomings of the exterior. The 6.74-inch IPS screen evokes mixed emotions. Its problem is low definition at a resolution of 1600x720 pixels. With a refresh rate of 90Hz, as well as color reproduction, there are no problems. The margin of brightness could be more, but still, in direct sunlight, the information on the IPS panel can be seen.
There are much fewer questions about the technical characteristics, because at the turn of the low and medium cost segments, the UNISOC Tiger T612 processor, 6GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC1 video adapter are ahead of competitors' solutions in terms of performance and energy efficiency. Of course, the gaming capabilities of the chipset are limited, really demanding games will require a serious reduction in graphics presets for more or less smooth gameplay, but the initial CPUs from Qualcomm and MediaTek are not capable of such results. The 5000 mAh battery holds a confident charge for a couple of days, a bonus to autonomy comes with fast charging with a power of 33W. As for the amount of permanent memory, it was brought up to 128GB, there is also a slot for microSD cards.
Auxiliary 0.3-megapixel photomodule causes only bewilderment and laughter. Luckily, Samsung's main 50-megapixel sensor isn't quite as useless. This is a popular module, the purpose of which is shooting in daylight conditions. With an abundance of light, it is not difficult to get a detailed picture without blurring and color errors, there is a chance of creating a good shot indoors. Evening photo shoots usually end in failure. Stereo sound is reserved for more expensive representatives of the line, the only speaker will help you not to miss an important call, however, the low volume and unbalanced frequency response make it unsuitable for comfortable listening to music. NFC contactless payments are not available in all regional versions, so this point should be checked with the seller. As a result, the gadget in question does not surpass its predecessors and is even inferior to a number of opponents, which is unlikely to bring it to the rank of future hits.
