Realme C65 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme C65 Overview
Realme C65 - inexpensive and not the most interesting
Every self-respecting modern smartphone manufacturer cannot do without a wide range of products, because a sophisticated buyer wants to choose. Design, functionality, dimensions - the list of aspects for choosing a mobile assistant can be continued for a very long time. However, it is almost impossible to increase the number of devices offered without fairly passable products. This is precisely the hero of today’s review.
The appearance of the new product is quite beautiful, it corresponds to the price category. The current form factor of the 8-megapixel selfie camera, the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, the photomodule unit copied from the Samsung Galaxy series, and the stylish colors of the high-quality polycarbonate body leave a positive impression, which would be even better without the large lower screen frame. The 6.67-inch IPS display is hard to fill with compliments alone. A resolution of 1604x720 pixels is not enough for good image clarity, and the brightness reserve of 550 nits is not surprising. Perhaps the only strengths of the IPS panel will be the correct color reproduction and the smoothness of the reproduced content at a 90-Hz picture refresh rate.
The technical characteristics were standard for the price segment MediaTek Helio G85 CPU, 6GB/8GB RAM and Mali G52MC2 video adapter. The bundle scores more than 200 thousand AnTuTu points and generally does not allow the Android 14 interface to be riddled with lags. Most applications launch without noticeable delays, but the gaming capabilities of the chipset are not so impressive. You won’t be able to play really resource-intensive projects like Genshin Impact even with minimal graphic presets due to the abundance of stutters. With autonomy the situation is more clear. The 5000mAh battery is enough for two days of active interaction with the phablet, while the battery also received fast charging with a power of 45W. The permanent memory of 128/256GB can always be expanded with MicroSD cards.
The main 50 and 2 megapixel photo modules without optical stabilization are suitable for daytime photo shoots. The user only needs to make sure that there are no moving objects in the frame, then obtaining a detailed, noise-free image will be possible from the first take. There is no stereo sound; one speaker is not characterized by extreme volume or even frequency response. You can comfortably enjoy your favorite music only with headphones; fortunately, there is even a jack for wired headsets. The developer saved money on NFC contactless payments, which is disappointing. Thus, the device is unlikely to become a bestseller given the huge number of alternatives on the market.
