Realme C65 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme C65 5G Overview
Realme C65 5G - deliberately unsuccessful?
Expanding the range of products offered is a prerequisite for successful activities for any smartphone manufacturer. The tastes of each user are different, so the developer simply needs to release dozens of phones of different price categories and directions. Unfortunately, the pursuit of quantity sometimes results in a loss of quality. That is why, even from the assembly lines of leading corporations, devices like the hero of today’s review sometimes come out.
The design of the new product is its strong point. Of course, it is easy to see shortcomings in it, such as the widespread use of inexpensive plastic, but the combination of advantages in the form of stylish textures of the rear panels, a proprietary block of photo modules, ergonomic placement of the side fingerprint scanner and reasonable display frame thickness still outweighs the disadvantages. The 6.67-inch IPS panel is rather disappointing. Smooth (120Hz refresh rate) and realistic color reproduction, the picture is characterized by mediocre clarity at HD+ resolution, and the maximum brightness of 550 nits is far from record-breaking.
The technical characteristics already evoke positive emotions. The energy-efficient, but not devoid of performance, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with support for 5G frequencies, 4GB/6GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC2 video adapter eliminates lags from the RealmeUI shell (Android 14) and allows you not to get bored without modern games. True, you can count on more or less comfortable gameplay in projects like Genshin Impact only with minimal graphic settings. Autonomy will not be a reason to criticize the phablet, because the 5000 mAh battery lasts for one and a half to two days. But they clearly saved money on fast charging (15W); you will have to leave the gadget at the outlet for three hours. 64/128GB of permanent memory is allocated, there is a separate slot for MicroSD cards.
The main 50- and 2-megapixel cameras do not amaze with their photographic capabilities. Among the available shooting scenarios, we highlight daytime photographs of stationary objects. Deteriorating lighting or increased dynamics of what is happening will inevitably lead to blur or noise. There is no stereo sound, and there are no NFC contactless payments, which will be a serious disadvantage for many buyers. As a result, we have an unbalanced and controversial device, which has too many more interesting competitors on the market.
