Realme GT 5 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT 5 Pro Overview
Realme GT 5 Pro - one step away from perfection
It’s hard not to notice the success of the Chinese company Realme in increasing its popularity around the world. Literally five years ago, a newcomer to the market was just trying to stay among more or less profitable developers, and today we have one of the industry leaders in front of us. Of course, democratic pricing policies and the quality of the products themselves played an important role in achieving fame. The hero of today's review also turned out to be reasonable in price and at the same time incredibly productive and functional.
The appearance of the new product is impressive and at the same time quite original. The beauty of the exterior is achieved due to the massive rectangular camera block, the pleasant-to-touch texture of the rear glass panel, metal edging, and narrow, barely visible display frames around the entire perimeter. The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen; it has a large working area and excellent accuracy. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel has everything you need to please the buyer. It combines the highest resolution of 2780x1264 pixels, a brightness level of almost 2000 nits, and small deviations in color reproduction. Of course, there was also a 120-Hz image refresh rate and a minimal PWM effect.
The technical specifications are simply the best. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12/16GB of RAM and the Adreno 750 video adapter demonstrate unprecedented scores in benchmarks and fantastic smoothness in games. Gamers will be able to immerse themselves in the worlds of Diablo Immortal, Genshin Impact and similar titles on maximum graphic presets, while the heating of the gadget will be barely noticeable. Of course, any application launches in a matter of seconds. The energy efficiency of the CPU is high; the battery, which reaches a capacity of 5400 mAh, will provide approximately one and a half days of operation of the device. The user can choose from fast wired charging (100W) and its wireless alternative (50W). The permanent memory can be from 256 to 1024GB.
The phone is close to the title of a camera phone, because the main modules are represented by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor with hybrid stabilization, a telephoto lens (threefold zoom) of the same 50 megapixels, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. With their help, it’s easy to take a high-quality photo with stunning detail, even in the evening. There are few artifacts like noise and blur even when shooting moving objects. The flagship is also characterized by loud stereo sound, suitable even for listening to instrumental music. NFC contactless payment, support for 5G networks and the proprietary RealmeUI shell (Android 14) complete the list of positive aspects of the device, which lacks only protection from dust and moisture.
