Realme GT7 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT 7 Pro Overview
Realme GT 7 Pro - a flagship with a small caveat
The Chinese company Realme does not forget about fans of smartphones in the highest price category. Every year, it releases several impressive models that amaze with their price-quality ratio, but they usually lack literally a couple of steps to the status of full-fledged top phones. The hero of today's review cannot be considered as such, although it has significantly advanced in functionality compared to its predecessors.
The appearance of the new product is more than attractive. The large block of photo modules looks relevant, and the design of the rear glass panel is also excellent. The display frames are even smaller, the area of the built-in fingerprint scanner is increased. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel received a remarkable resolution of 2780x1264 pixels, which helps to achieve high image detail. Also worth praising is the excellent smoothness of the image at a 120-Hz refresh rate, a minimum of errors in color rendering. There is no saving on the oleophobic coating, which is even on the complete protective film. In addition, the ergonomic and graceful monoblock received moisture protection according to the IP69 standard.
Technical characteristics are represented by the most productive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 4) CPU, 12/16 GB of RAM and an Adreno 830 video accelerator. The bundle scores an impressive three million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, easily dealing with all existing applications and games for the Android 15 OS. The list of projects launched at maximum graphics settings will include Fortnite and Genshin Impact. Of course, the most powerful chipset is not the most energy efficient in the world, but the 6500 mAh battery solves all problems with autonomy. You need to look for the nearest sockets once every day and a half. Unfortunately, wireless charging is not provided, which is disappointing, there is only a wired alternative with a power of 120W. But the permanent memory is allocated 256/512/1024 GB, so you won’t have to remember about the lack of a slot for MicroSD cards.
The main 50-megapixel (the main sensor Sony IMX906, a telephoto lens from the same brand IMX882 with a three-fold zoom, a wide-angle lens) cameras cover a great variety of shooting scenarios. Evening shots will be almost free of noise, the number of details is at an excellent level. Moving objects will rarely be blurred even if there are really a lot of them in the photo. Stereo sound is also obtained. It is loud, rich, and characterized by a relatively flat frequency response. Of course, there are also contactless NFC payments and support for 5G networks. Thus, the device has every chance of becoming a bestseller, because its minor flaws are also compensated by a democratic price tag.
