Realme GT 7T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT 7T Overview
Realme GT 7T - modest steps forward
The Chinese company Realme does not forget to steadily replenish the range of its smartphones at the turn of the middle and high price segments. The previous sub-flagship of the corporation was a real hit due to its advanced technical characteristics, well-developed design and the absence of critical shortcomings in other aspects. The hero of today's review also corresponds to this description, while the new product has even become somewhat more interesting than its predecessor. True, the metamorphoses are not as large-scale as we would like.
The appearance of the device is quite successful. The glass back panels pleasantly cool the palm, the photo module block received a more modern form factor, the display frames with a built-in fingerprint scanner are now even thinner. Water protection according to IP68 standards has also appeared, but the metal frame is still missing. Apparently, the savings on it were reflected in the cost price. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen retains a resolution of 2780x1264 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but has improved in a number of parameters. Thus, the peak brightness has grown to 6500 nits, and there are even fewer errors in color rendering.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor together with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM provides a performance of almost one and a half million points in the AnTuTu test, which allows you to count on excellent gameplay in any games. Of course, the mentioned power is noticeable in everyday work with the device. In the Android 15 interface, it is difficult to notice even minor lags, applications launch in a matter of seconds. There are also improvements in autonomy. From a 6000 mAh battery, it is easier to get a couple of days of active use of the unit. Fast wired charging with a power of 120 W has not disappeared anywhere, you do not need to stay near the outlet for a long time. Unfortunately, the wireless analog is still a privilege for flagships. The permanent memory is allocated 256/512 GB without an expansion slot.
The photo capabilities of the main 50-megapixel sensor from Sony with a hybrid stabilization system and a 13-megapixel wide-angle module do not disappoint. This is evident from the pictures in the evening, which are less likely to upset with noise and drops in detail. But it did not work out to please buyers with a telephoto lens. Stereo sound is in place, you will definitely not miss a call, and watching videos is quite comfortable. NFC contactless payments, 5G network support and an IR port are also present. Thus, purchasing a gadget will definitely not cause negative emotions, but changing the previous model for it is not particularly rational.
