Realme GT Neo 4 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT Neo 4 Overview
Realme GT Neo 4 - a few steps forward
The neo-line of smartphones from the Chinese company Realme is a combination of excellent sub-flagship models that are not devoid of both performance and battery life, high-quality photographic capabilities. However, the first representative of the fourth generation of the series promises, if not to make a revolution in the price segment, then certainly to surpass most of the competitors.
The appearance of the novelty has changed slightly. Similar color schemes of the glass back panels are complemented by a modified block of photomodules, the frames of the 6.7-inch AMOLED display are now slightly narrower. Unfortunately, the side bezel is still made of plastic to reduce the cost of the phablet, but that's the only downside to the exterior. The quality of the picture displayed by the AMOLED screen has increased thanks to an impressive resolution of 2640x1220 pixels and correctly calibrated color reproduction. The 120-Hz image refresh rate, a responsive under-screen fingerprint scanner and a high margin of brightness have not disappeared anywhere either.
The technical specifications are represented by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, 8GB/12GB RAM and Adreno 730 video adapter, which will definitely appeal to gamers. To date, there is not a single project that would not submit to the given bunch at the maximum graphic presets. Detect lags and slowdowns will not work in the Android 12 interface (RealmeUI shell). I also want to positively evaluate the autonomy of the device. Although the 5000mAh battery was left without wireless charging, its wired counterpart received a power of 100W (from 0 to 100% capacity in 25 minutes). As for the size of the internal storage, it has been increased to 128/256GB. It's a pity, but expanding the ROM with MicroSD cards will not work.
The main 50-, 8- and 2-megapixel sensors, led by the most popular Sony IMX766, still cope even with complex shooting scenarios. Evening photos and videos, as well as pictures of dynamic objects, are detailed, the differences from camera phone photos are solely in the noise and naturalness of color reproduction. Stereo sound, NFC contactless payments, support for 5G networks and an extremely attractive price tag turn the gadget into a truly pleasant and expedient purchase.
