Realme GT Neo 6 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT Neo 6 Overview
Realme GT Neo 6 - improvement of sub-flagships
The Chinese company Realme continues to expand the GT-line of smartphones that have earned the love of users due to performance and functionality. Each subsequent generation raises the bar for value for money even higher, and this statement is true for all new models. The hero of today's review is no exception.
The novelty improves on the design concept of its predecessors. The triple camera block has actually remained the same, and the RGB LED next to it for displaying notifications has not disappeared anywhere. The exterior is decorated with stylish colors of glass rear panels, a frameless display around all the perimeter. The AMOLED panel received an increased resolution of 2772x1240 pixels, an excellent refresh rate of 144Hz and, importantly, a brightness indicator of almost 1500 nits. As a result, the image is simply devoid of flaws, and the excellent built-in fingerprint scanner complements the positive impression of the screen.
It is difficult to imagine better technical specifications for a phone at the turn of the middle and higher price segments than a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 8GB / 12GB of RAM, an Adreno 740 video core. It will be difficult to find jamming both in the Android 13 interface (RealmeUI shell) and in work applications. Launching browsers, messengers takes a fraction of a second, known for resource-intensive games (Fortnite, Genshin Impact) function flawlessly at maximum graphic settings. At the same time, the heating of the device is low even after long gaming sessions, which indicates both a high-quality cooling system and a reserve of power for the future. Energy efficiency also did not let us down, so it’s easy to get about a day and a half of the device functioning from a 5080 mAh battery. You won’t have to stay at the outlet for a long time, as the charging power has reached an impressive 150W. The size of the permanent memory can be equal to 256 or 512GB of ROM without the possibility of expansion.
The photo capabilities of the auxiliary main photomodules do not cause delight, because their list does not include a telephoto lens and a high-quality wide-angle sensor. However, the excellent 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 module with hybrid stabilization fully compensates for such shortcomings. It easily copes with any shooting scenarios, leaving a minimum amount of noise and blur even when capturing dynamic scenes in mediocre lighting. Of course, the phablet also has a loud, balanced stereo sound, NFC contactless payments. There was even a place for an infrared port to control household appliances. The only thing missing for the ideal is wireless charging and moisture protection, but they are reserved for full-fledged flagships. Thus, the gadget has everything you need to win the hearts of millions.
