Realme Narzo 50A Prime Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme Narzo 50A Prime Overview
Realme Narzo 50A Prime - stripped down but not useless
The Chinese company Realmi has released a huge number of successful mid-range phones over the past couple of years, which have found critical acclaim from buyers and critics alike. However, with more affordable devices from the growing manufacturer, everything is not so good. So, a lot of monotonous models with modest functionality came out from under the conveyor. The developer, however, changed his strategy and decided to simply simplify the previously created bestsellers.
The appearance of the novelty resembles that of the 9i thanks to the camera unit, the diagonal of the IPS display and the overall dimensions. The back panel is characterized by a carbon texture that is pleasing to the eye, the side face pleases with the presence of a fingerprint sensor. The only major flaws on the exterior will be the 8-megapixel selfie camera form factor straight from 2019 and the wide bottom bezel of the display. The IPS panel has lost its increased refresh rate, but it is still good in terms of brightness and contrast, and no one began to sacrifice image clarity. As a result, the resolution is more than competitive 2408x1080 pixels.
The latest Unisoc Tiger T612 chipset, 4GB of RAM and the Mali G57-MC1 video accelerator are chosen as technical characteristics, which show themselves worthy in almost all existing applications. This is an excellent solution for a budget phablet, ready to suit gamers too. If the most resource-intensive Genshin Impact or Alien: Isolation work with noticeable lags regardless of the graphics presets, then the same PUBG will bypass such a fate. The energy efficiency of the processor did not let us down either, thanks to which it is reasonable to expect more than 9-10 hours of active screen time from a 5000 mAh battery . Charging the battery is not the fastest (18W), it is better to leave the gadget at the outlet at night. The size of the internal storage was 64 / 128GB , there is a slot for MicroSD cards.
Three main cameras, led by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor, have not lost their photo capabilities. During the day, the user has a chance to capture detailed frames with the correct color reproduction and without noticeable blurring. Of course, you should not count on such results in the evening or with mediocre indoor lighting. The device lost stereo sound and NFC contactless payments. If the first point is still possible to survive, then the second will cause negativity among many Android users. But even with such disadvantages, the smartphone justifies the asking price with a margin.
