Realme Neo7 Turbo Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme Neo7 Turbo Overview
Realme Neo7 Turbo - powerful and balanced
The Chinese company Realme has been supplying the mid-price segment of the smartphone market with incredibly competitive devices for several years now. Dozens of commercially successful products are replaced by even more technologically advanced and interesting solutions. It is easy to consider the hero of today's review as such, pleasing both with its design, and technical characteristics, and autonomy.
The appearance of the new product is quite modern, although not a flagship. Differences are observed both in the case materials (polycarbonate instead of tempered glass and / or metal), slightly wider screen frames. At the same time, the colors of the monoblocks are stylish, the camera block is beautiful, there is moisture protection according to IP69 standards. The 6.8-inch AMOLED panel does not disappoint in quality. It is characterized by a good resolution for the diagonal of 2800x1280 pixels, image clarity is combined with smoothness at a refresh rate of 144 Hz, natural color rendition. There is an oleophobic coating, but the PWM effect is almost completely eliminated. As for the peak brightness, it reaches 3000 nits, the content is excellent video in direct sunlight.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor is a very productive choice for the price category, capable of satisfying the needs of even demanding gamers. The chipset, combined with 12GB / 16GB of RAM and a Mali Immortalis-G720 MC12 video adapter, seriously exceeds the two million point bar in the AnTuTu test and copes with maximum graphics settings even with Genshin Impact and Fortnite at a frame rate of 50-60 frames per second. The power consumption of the bundle is reasonable, the 7200 mAh battery usually lasts for a couple of days. There is no wireless charging, which is not surprising, but the wired alternative has acquired a power of 100W. The permanent memory for users is 256/512 GB, there is no slot for MicroSD cards. Of course, the phablet could not do without saving.
Photographic capabilities were cut. So, from the auxiliary sensors we have only the simplest 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, which is not always ready to cope even with daytime photography. The 50-megapixel main photo sensor Sony IMX882 is also not a top photo module, but thanks to hybrid stabilization, it often creates detailed pictures without excess artifacts. There is stereo sound, but the upper speaker is slightly lower than the lower one, but the bass is audible and the volume is not bad. NFC contactless payments and 5G network support are in place, but there is also a noticeable drawback. So, a global version of the device is not planned, so you will have to get used to non-removable application services and the lack of FDD-LTE B7. 4G Internet in many European and CIS countries will function mediocrely. However, the abundance of other advantages and the extremely democratic price tag allow us to close our eyes to such disadvantages.
