Realme P3 Ultra 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme P3 Ultra 5G Overview
Realme P3 Ultra 5G - nothing extra
The Chinese company Realme knows how to make smartphones that are optimal in terms of price and quality. It has proven this more than once over the past few years, and today the corporation continues its triumphant march, competing on equal terms with the most famous phone manufacturers. The hero of today's review is aimed at the middle price segment and is devoid of serious shortcomings. But it has a lot of competitive advantages.
These definitely include design. The back panel can be presented in a glass variation or stylized for leather, all solutions look excellent. Additional beauty to the exterior is given by the metal edging, a neat block of photo modules, thin display frames with a built-in fingerprint scanner. At the same time, there was even room for full moisture protection according to IP69 standards. The screen did not disappoint either. The 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2800x1272 pixels is not inferior to other flagship analogs in terms of the clarity of the reproduced image, its smoothness (refresh rate of 120 Hz). The peak brightness is less impressive (1500 nits), but it is enough for direct sunlight in 99% of cases. There are no significant errors in color rendering.
The selection of technical characteristics is also good. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and the Mali G615MC6 video core are a bundle that is ready to please both the average user and even a sophisticated gamer. It is productive and energy efficient. Applications open instantly, and the 6000 mAh battery is more than enough for a day, and even a day and a half of work with a mobile assistant. At the same time, there is an impressive fast charging with a power of 80W, reducing the time spent near the outlet to 45 minutes. As for games, even such projects as Zenless Zone Zero, Genshin Impact, Diablo Immortal will be available, and even at maximum or close to them graphics settings. The device heats up, but not critically, throttling is not considered huge. The internal storage is allocated 128/256 GB, which is not so much by today's standards. A slot for MicroSD memory cards would be useful, but they saved on it.
The photo capabilities of the 8-megapixel wide-angle camera are mediocre, it is unlikely to be used often. But such words definitely do not apply to the main 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 sensor with hybrid stabilization. It copes brilliantly with daytime shooting, most of the details are preserved in evening photos and video files, albeit with some blur and noise. The stereo sound is rich, loud, although the lower speaker is clearly louder. Contactless payments NFC (not in all regional versions), support for 5G networks and a democratic price tag only emphasize the relevance of the gadget and its future decent sales.
