Realme Q5 Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme Q5 Pro+ Overview
Realme Q5 Pro+ - a sudden hit in the bull's-eye?
The Chinese company Realmi is increasingly asserting itself as the future leader in the smartphone market. The corporation's products are sold in millions of copies around the world, imposing competition on the best devices from Xiaomi, Samsung. What is surprising, if some potential bestsellers receive a serious advertising campaign even before their release, then amazing gadgets like the hero of today's review pass by almost unnoticed. What diamond could we have overlooked?
The appearance of the novelty turned out to be attractive and at the same time quite original, which is rare for the border of the middle and higher price segments. The glass back panel and its colors do not raise any complaints, the shape and dimensions of the body are optimal for achieving good ergonomics, the bezels of the 6.62-inch display with a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the corner are rather modest. Only the plastic edging became the object of savings, but it is difficult to find an equally inexpensive analogue of a phablet with metal. The main competitive advantages of AMOLED panels are a huge margin of brightness (more than 1000 nits), excellent FullHD + resolution in terms of picture clarity and energy efficiency, and, of course, a 120-Hz image refresh rate. Distinguishing an AMOLED display from flagship alternatives is not easy.
The performance provided by the Qualcomm Snapdragon870 CPU, 6GB / 8GB / 12GB ofRAM and the Adreno 650 graphics accelerator corresponds to the parameters given earlier. Such technical characteristics will be relevant for several more years both for the simple use of Android 12 OS and for running resource-intensive games. The flagship of the gaming industry, Genshin Impact, does not frustrate with lag even at close to the maximum graphics settings. In addition, the chipset used is characterized by good energy efficiency. The developer brought the battery capacity up to 5000mAh and, as a result, autonomy up to 8-9 hours of active screen time, but the advantages of the battery do not end there. Fast charging with a power of up to 80W makes staying at the outlet almost imperceptible. A cup of tea and a charger can be hidden in the closet again. 128/256GB UFS 3.1 format ROMs also have a positive effect on the attractiveness of an Android smartphone.
However, the phone did not remain without minuses. 64-, 8- and 2-megapixel photomodules without optical stabilization do a poor job of shooting in the evening, which is noticeable both in the amount of noise and in the disappearance of many small details from the pictures. The same words apply to the resulting video sequence, which also suffers from the ghosting effect. There was no place in the device for an audio jack, as well as FDD-LTE B20, without which the functioning of 4G in the CIS countries will not always be ideal. But the advantages mentioned above, coupled with stereo sound , 5G support and NFC contactless payments, multiply the relevance of an affordable Android phone.
