Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Overview
Samsung Galaxy A25 5G - following the flagships
The Korean company Samsung does not forget to improve the entire range of smartphones it offers. Models at the border of the low and middle price segments do not stand aside either. So, over the past few years, such phones have made significant progress in performance, functionality and attractiveness of the exterior. The hero of today's review also follows this trend, adopting many features from the developer's most expensive devices.
The appearance of the new product is not bad, but still causes controversial feelings. The rear panel almost completely duplicates that of the S-series. This also applies to the colors and design of the three photomodules. The convenient location of the fingerprint scanner on the side and the high-quality polycarbonate body are also combined with not the narrowest display frames and the outdated design of the 13-megapixel selfie camera. But the 6.5-inch AMOLED display itself turned out to be very good. FullHD+ resolution, improved smoothness (image refresh at 120Hz), high brightness do not allow us to find fault with the quality of the output picture.
The technical characteristics were Exynos 1280 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, Mali-G68 MP4 video core. The combination can hardly be considered advanced, but with it the user will definitely be able to forget about the lags in the Android 14 interface and unpleasant delays in launching applications. Gamers do not need to part with resource-intensive hits like Genshin Impact, but it is better to lower the graphics settings to the minimum values. A 5000mAh battery capacity is already standard today, but the energy-efficient chipset provides about two days of battery life for the phablet. It’s a pity that the charging power is a modest 25W; it will take you more than an hour to stay at the outlet. The size of permanent memory reaches 128/256GB, and can be expanded with microSD cards.
There is also progress in the photographic capabilities of cameras. The 50-megapixel main sensor is equipped with optical stabilization, daytime shooting has no visible flaws, evening shots do not have a critical amount of noise, and losses in detail are small. There is no stereo sound, the only speaker is quite simple, listening to music with its help is unlikely to give a lot of pleasure. But there is a headphone jack. NFC contactless payments are available, and the modem supports 5G frequencies. Thus, although the device has a number of minor disadvantages, they are more than compensated for by its overall balance and affordable price tag.
