Flagship models, namely the S-series, are characterized by minimal improvements compared to the previous generation, which awakens a number of not the most pleasant questions from fans. The same situation is relevant for the middle price segment, where new products are also practically no different from their predecessors either in functionality or in appearance. A similar conservative approach is also evident in the hero of today's review.

The design of the phablet is beautiful in its own way, but it is difficult to consider it original, since it almost literally repeats the style of its previous brother. The case is made of a combination of plastic (back panel) and metal (edging), which provides a pleasant tactile sensation. It is also supplemented with protection from moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard, which is an undoubted plus for fans of an active lifestyle. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen pleases with the clarity of the image at FullHD+ resolution and high-quality color rendering, but it causes complaints due to the PWM effect, which can cause discomfort during long-term use for many buyers. Against the background of competitors from China, the maximum brightness of 1000+ nits also seems insufficient. The built-in fingerprint scanner is not super accurate, it works about 8 touches out of 10.

The device is equipped with an Exynos 1580 processor and an Xclipse 540 graphics accelerator. In combination with 8GB/12GB of RAM, the chipset allows the device to demonstrate relatively high performance of more than 800,000 points in the AnTuTu test. The interface based on Android 15 works smoothly and responsively, but overheating (throttling) and lack of optimization are noticed in resource-intensive tasks such as games. For example, Genshin Impact functions stably only on low-medium graphics settings, which may disappoint sophisticated mobile gamers. The device's autonomy is provided by a 5000 mAh battery, which is enough for about a day and a half of moderate work. The battery has a fast charge with a power of 45W, the charge is replenished in 50-60 minutes. As for the internal memory, options with 128/256 GB of ROM are available, which can be expanded using MicroSD cards.

The unit has a triple main camera, which includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with hybrid stabilization, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. The shooting quality can be called decent, but significant changes are not observed when compared with previously used modules. Daytime pictures are clear and rich, in the evening, the photo sensors retain the detail of events, although they do not eliminate noise. The front 12-megapixel camera shows good results, suitable not only for video calls, but also for creating high-quality selfies. As additional advantages, we highlight the stereo speakers, which guarantee loud and voluminous sound, as well as support for 5G, NFC, and a gyroscope. However, despite the balanced parameters, the price tag of the phone has increased, which makes it less attractive among numerous competitors. In the conditions of the modern market, it is difficult to recommend the considered Android smartphone for an unambiguous purchase, especially considering the availability of cheaper alternatives with a similar set of functions.
