The M-series of smartphones from the Korean company Samsung has always been distinguished by a long battery life, but with other parameters, everything was not so good with its representatives. Sometimes the technical characteristics were let down, sometimes the photo opportunities were disappointing. Fortunately, the hero of today's review is devoid of such shortcomings.

The appearance of the novelty is quite simple, but at the same time pleasing to the eye. The effect is achieved due to the beautiful colors of high-quality polycarbonate cases, a stylish triple block of photomodules, and a side fingerprint scanner. Notable display bezels and the not-so-relevant design of the 13-megapixel selfie camera stand out from the list of exterior advantages, but such simplifications can be forgiven for an inexpensive phone. The 6.5-inch AMOLED display, on the other hand, did without a trace of savings. It is bright, contrasting, endowed with an optimal FullHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The disadvantage of the AMOLED panel is the pronounced PWM effect.

The Exynos 1280 processor is a mid-range solution that supports 5G frequencies and provides a good gaming experience. Of course, in the most demanding games, you will have to lower the graphics settings to low presets, even 6GB / 8GB of RAM and the Mali G68MP4 video core do not save the situation. However, the gameplay in such conditions is smooth, even Fortnite and Honkai: Star Rail will be playable. The heating of the phablet after a couple of hours of gameplay is noticeable, but not critical. The battery capacity has been increased to 6000 mAh, it needs to be charged about once every one and a half to two days. Fast charging was a modest 25W, leaving the gadget at the outlet or power bank is necessary for a long period. As for internal memory, 128/256GB of ROM can be expanded with MicroSD cards if there is not enough.

When analyzing the capabilities of the main cameras, it is better to forget about the mediocre 8 and 2-megapixel auxiliary sensors and focus on the main 50-megapixel module with optical stabilization. It guarantees hundreds of detailed, natural shots during the day, and will not upset you with an excess of noise during evening photo shoots. There is no stereo sound, which is frustrating, because the not very loud single speaker will not give pleasure from listening to music. But NFC is in place, paying in hypermarkets is easy and convenient. Thus, the device, with its affordable price tag, tries to be as balanced as possible in every aspect.
