UMIDIGI Note 100 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
UMIDIGI Note 100 Overview
UMIDIGI Note 100 - beautiful one
The Chinese company Umidigi tries to keep up with its opponents, but the limited budget sometimes still affects the devices it produces. In the hero of today's review, the manufacturer decided to focus on an attractive design, but other parameters are sometimes inferior to those of the phablet's closest rivals.
As noted earlier, the phone turned out to be stylish. The fresh light green color of the rear panel, stylized as glass, the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, the relatively thin IPS screen, and the triple photo module unit look relevant and interesting. But the 6.8-inch display is no longer so clear. The FullHD+ resolution indicates good clarity of the content, and there is excellent smoothness at a picture refresh rate of 120 hertz. But the brightness level of 600 nits is not particularly impressive within the average price category; on a sunny day the image becomes less visible. There is also no oleophobic coating.
The technical characteristics are MediaTek Helio G95 CPU, 8GB of RAM and Mali G76MP4 video adapter. The combination is definitely not the newest, it has its pros and cons. Performance of almost 400 thousand AnTuTu points and good energy efficiency on one side of the scale, the lack of 5G networks on the other. The gaming abilities cannot be considered bad, but in really resource-intensive games the graphics settings will have to be reduced to low-medium presets. One such example is Genshin Impact. 256GB of permanent memory is allocated, a slot for MicroSD cards is also always available. The autonomy provided by the 5000mAh battery reaches 8-9 hours of active screen time. Fast charging is present, although its power is not record-breaking (33W).
The main 50-megapixel (main sensor), 13-megapixel (wide-angle lens) and 5-megapixel (portrait module) cameras lack optical stabilization, which is evident from the evening photo capabilities. Noise and loss of detail are visible. There are no such problems with daytime shots. There is no stereo sound, but there is a separate headphone jack for music lovers. NFC contactless payments are available, and modern Android 14 is also available. However, the lackluster photo capabilities and dull IPS panel reduce the gadget’s chances of impressive sales.
