Ulefone Armor 11T 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Ulefone Armor 11T 5G Overview
Ulefone Armor 11T 5G - stupid technologies?
The smartphone market is becoming more and more competitive, introduces its own complexities and demanding audience. Users have gotten used to the value-for-money ratio of the new products. It is especially difficult for smaller players who are unable to take advantage of economies of scale. So, although the hero of today's review pleases with a number of advantages, they are unlikely to be interesting with the requested price list.
The phone looks almost the same as its predecessor. Only a block of five cameras underwent cosmetic changes, one of which was replaced with a full-fledged thermal imager . The thing is curious and even unique, but hardly really necessary. Perhaps, it will be needed only for hunting, otherwise the heat module will be useful only to surprise others. Positive design features are metal elements of the rubberized case with protection against dust and moisture ( IP68 ), a side fingerprint scanner, a pleasant matte texture of the back panel, negative - excessive dimensions and, as a result, mediocre ergonomics. The 6.1-inch OGS screen falls short of the high price point. HD + resolution is not enough for image clarity, brightness and contrast do not allow maintaining adequate picture visibility in direct sunlight.
But the applied IPS screen, with all its shortcomings, increases the performance of the Mali G57 MC3 video accelerator, which is part of the powerful Mediatek Dimensity 800 processor. As a result, this chipset, together with 8GB of RAM, can cope even with medium-high graphics presets in the resource-intensive Genshin Impact and will not be annoying with overheating during long gaming sessions. The energy efficiency of the CPU did not disappoint either. With a capacious 5200mAh battery, it's easy to get about 10-12 hours of active screen time, in addition, the battery supports wireless charging . The volume of internal storage has been brought up to the flagship 256GB . This ROM size will be enough for most buyers, but there is also a microSD card slot.
In addition to the thermal camera, the gadget has 48-, 5- and 2-megapixel (pair) sensors, which work well in daytime shooting and not bad in the evening. The results of such photo shoots, namely the amount of noise and the reduction in detail, are affected by the lack of optical stabilization and software optimization. On the software side, Android 11 will feature untranslated words and phrases, as well as occasional jams. Other advantages of the gadget include NFC contactless payments. However, the whole set of advantages does not save the device from the overpriced price tag and many unpleasant and even critical shortcomings.
