Ulefone Armor 24 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Ulefone Armor 24 Overview
Ulefone Armor 24 - the best in the heavyweight division?
The autonomy and durability of a smartphone are extremely important aspects of choosing a phone for many users. However, sometimes developers get too carried away with the development of these parameters, which is why we end up with gadgets that are completely devoid of ergonomics. And it seems that the hero of today’s review is almost a record holder among such devices.
The appearance of the new product leaves ambiguous impressions. The thickness of the rubberized case (IP68 protection standard) is almost three centimeters, the large display frames, and the weight of almost 650 grams make it much more difficult to use the mobile assistant with one hand. Of course, if there are also positive exterior details like a side fingerprint sensor, a stylish dual camera unit and a powerful LED flashlight (1000 lumens). The 6.78-inch IPS screen is also not subject to significant criticism. It is characterized by a high resolution of 2460x1080 pixels and a modern image refresh rate of 120 hertz; there are no serious problems with either brightness reserve or color reproduction.
The technical specifications did not disappoint either. Of course, the MediaTek Helio G96 processor can hardly be considered new, and it does not have 5G support, but the CPU is well balanced in terms of performance and energy efficiency. Together with 12GB of RAM, the chipset will eliminate the lags of the Android 13 interface and allow you to immerse yourself in the vast majority of games. Even Genshin Impact, Wreckfest, and Fortnite will be available at low graphic settings. 256GB of permanent memory is an impressive amount of ROM, so only a few will need to expand it with MicroSD cards. The 22000mAh battery is amazing in its capacity. You will have to charge it once every 5-7 days, but the device needs to be kept at the outlet for more than 5 hours. Even fast wired charging at 66W does not help.
The main 64-megapixel cameras (Sony IMX686 main module and monochrome night vision sensor from Omnivision) perform their duties well. You shouldn't expect detailed shots of moving objects, but the chance of getting a successful shot even in the evening is not so small. The stereo speakers are loud, you can hear the bass and numerous instruments in your favorite compositions. Among the advantages, NFC contactless payment, an infrared port for controlling household appliances, and a power bank function will also be noted. As a result, a bulky and inconvenient device puts technology, functionality and battery life on the other side of the scale, which will definitely appeal to part of the audience.
