Ulefone Armor 34+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Ulefone Armor 34+ Overview
Ulefone Armor 34+ - a tiny update
The Chinese company Ulefone sometimes focuses too much on expanding its smartphone range. As a result, the manufacturer begins releasing essentially identical phones with minimal differences. The hero of today's review is a clear example of this ambiguous behavior.
The appearance of the new device is completely identical to that of the previously released device without the Plus index. Fans of rugged candybar designs will appreciate the design, but in 2026, we would have liked to see more compact and ergonomic rubberized cases with IP68 water resistance. There's a stylish photo module, a trendy camping flashlight, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an abundance of metal elements, but the awkward shape and huge screen bezels are difficult to come by. The 6.95-inch IPS display itself disappoints with its maximum brightness compared to its AMOLED counterparts. Yes, the picture is sharp at the FullHD+ resolution and the chosen manufacturing technology, and content is smoother thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, but color reproduction is slightly washed out, and direct sunlight reduces visibility to almost zero.
The technical specifications have seen a slight performance boost of 3-5%, so the combination of the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, 16GB of RAM, and Mali G615MC2 GPU still can't be called a gaming device. Around 700,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark indicate decent performance of the Android 15 interface, but for truly resource-intensive games like Zenless Zone Zero, you'll need to significantly reduce the graphics settings. Otherwise, the frame rate will be extremely unstable, and unpleasant freezes will occur during gameplay. The device's main feature is its huge 25,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging. In the vast majority of cases, it lasts for 4-5 days. The built-in memory is 512GB, and there's also a microSD card slot.
The photography capabilities aren't outstanding, but they're clearly better than many competitors. The 64-megapixel monochrome night vision sensor could certainly use a telephoto lens, but the large 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H main module and the wide-angle 50-megapixel sensor are suitable even for evening photography, although noise is sometimes visible. Stereo sound, a color notification LED, and support for NFC contactless payments and 5G networks round out the positive impression of the device, whose only drawbacks are its size and the presence of a twin brother in the lineup.
